Antoine Ricoux founder of Electric Canary

Hey! If you came here you probably want to know a bit more about me and the Electric Canary project.

I'm Antoine (here's me with my awfully messy board), I'm a musician, sound engineer and founder of Electric Canary.

I currently live in Paris but my pedal-making history begins in the south of France, in my parent's garage to be more precise. I spent hours upon hours in company of biting mosquitoes and my father's singing canaries, trying to finally understand what's going on in my Big Muff.

That summer, I came out of this garage with early stage prototypes, a newfound motivation to innovate and an interesting name for a pedal company.

Since then I got a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Musicology. I'm currently studying for my Sound engineering master's degree in ENS Louis-Lumière.

My background in sound engineering led me to discover innovative ways to reinvent the guitar pedal while picturing the exact sound I want to achieve.

I hope this website and my devices can sparkle your creativity.

Hope to hear from you.
